The 16+ Centre, led by Mrs Peggy Denman, is located at the
Our 16+ Centre has its own separate and distinctive work and study rooms with a reception area where individuals can relax and chat with their friends during break and lunch time.
Students are taught on site for a minimum of three days. The remaining two are allocated to work experience, voluntary community projects, life skills training such as travel training, shopping etc. Students also have the opportunity to access courses at the local further education college. To develop financial numeracy and literacy and to subsidize 16+ activities all students are involved in various Team Enterprise projects such as a Car Cleaning Service.
