Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Last Friday, 3rd December we invited all pupils and staff to wear brown or green (or their own clothes) for a donation of £1 to fund the planting of trees at our School, in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee (70 years as our Queen). We are delighted to share that we raised £116.47 and we have also had a very generous donation from a family of £100, giving us a grand total of £216.47, which is wonderful! Thank you to our whole school community for their support - we look forward to sharing photos of the trees in the New Year and our pupils enjoying them.
Oakley School is very proud to be a Special School partner in the West Kent Independent State School Partnership (WKISSP) and welcomes Louisa Priestley as the first dedicated partnership co-ordinator. We are particularly looking forward to working with our partners next year and creating more opportunities for our children and young people.
A big Oakley THANK YOU you to Corkers for donating 3 tons of topsoil to help fill our new raised beds in the Phase 2 garden. Kestrels, Eagles and Hawks have been busy moving the soil from the car park to the garden area and we hope to have another delivery soon so that we can finish the job. We're looking forward to growing some lovely vegetables next year! @corkeruk
