We are seeking a dynamic, flexible and responsive Learning Support Cover Assistant (our equivalent of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to join our friendly, positive and forward looking team.  The postholder will primarily be based at our Tunbridge Wells site, but must also be prepared to travel to, and work at, our Tonbridge site.

The role will involve providing teaching cover for short term teacher absence throughout the site (Reception to KS4) as well as working closely with the teaching staff to support our pupils in all aspects of their learning, social development, personal needs and developing their skills for life and independence.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience and expertise and a degree or relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, who can demonstrate good teaching and learning experience and skills, to cover the teaching in a range of lessons and subjects.  Experience of working in a Special Needs environment would be an advantage, but is not essential as full induction and training will be given.
