Pupil Premium
The Department for Education provides additional funding, known as Pupil Premium, to support the progress and attainment of specific groups of pupils aged between 5 and 16 years. These groups may be disadvantaged by virtue of their family circumstances.
All schools are required to publish on-line how they have use the Pupil Premium funding and the impact it has had on pupil attainment.
Pupil Premium funding falls into three categories:
Free School Meals
Children in Care
Children from Service Families
