This term Phase 3 have been involved in a variety of different activities. Kingfishers, Kestrels and Hawks have moved topsoil from the car park to fill the new raised beds in the vegetable garden and laid bark on pathways in the woodland area. Eagles planted sweet pea seeds for some summer colour and scent. Buzzards made bird feeders and cleared all the plastic from our garden areas in keeping with our Eco School status. Owls tested out our new loose parts kit and experimented with wooden hats, phones and all sorts of other fun items. Some of the classes have been safely using the bow saw to cut wooden discs and make name tags and necklaces. We've had lots of team work and peer support going on and we hope that some classes can finish the term next week by making popcorn over an open fire.
